I was born in Denver and, after college and a stint in Viet Nam as an Army Finance Officer, I was drawn home to Colorado. Practicing as a CPA lacked the people contact I wanted, so I began selling real estate in 1972. I will never forget those early days when I longed for the opportunity to find people who needed real estate assistance and I made a pact with myself that I would provide the finest level of service to every client I was ever fortunate enough to serve. Over the years, we’ve constantly asked ourselves what our clients really want from us and diligently directed ourselves accordingly. We are pleased with the resulting growth in our business and we are forever searching for the new technology, the better way to stay in touch, the improved marketing tools to serve our clients beyond their wildest expectations. We delight in seeing our clients say “Wow!”.

I’m from the Midwest- Where a strong work ethic was important and, just like in Colorado, the people are down to earth and friendly. The scenery, weather and recreation are a whole lot better here though! Dedication to every detail is what you can expect from me. What I most enjoy about real estate is meeting and helping people- taking away the worry by attending to the many details so the process is stress-free. I also believe everyone is a VIP- I’ll “roll out the red carpet” for each and every client whether they are buying or selling a multi-million dollar estate or their very first home. I started in real estate in 1989 as an escrow officer with a local title insurance company and then as Tupper's Closing Coordinator, so I’ve seen it form the inside out. I saw the difference between also-ran and sterling service and I ached to have direct contact with clients so I could provide the latter. I love helping nice people find the homes of their dreams and, in the process, making new friends and neighbors. Honored by the clients who come back and refer their friends to us, I know that I’m doing my job correctly if I make the transaction look easy and smooth.

When you read all those letters after a Realtor's name, do you have any idea what they mean? They are important because they can tell you about the person's training, proven ability and commitment to professionalism. We work hard to stay at the 'top of our game' and we spend many days and dollars every year to continue our education to improve our service to you. The following are designations that we have earned through the National Association of Realtors.

ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative. Indicates specialization in working with buyers and the unique challenges they face.

CRB - Council of Residential Brokers. Indicates specialization in managing a real estate office.

CRS - Council of Residential Specialists. Important, a 'master's degree' in residential real estate brokerage.

Cyberstars - Organization of real estate geeks who lead the industry in online marketing. Out of over 1.5 million Realtors, there are only 250 CyberStars across the country.

e-Pro - Internet Certification. Indicates proficiency in online marketing.

GRI - Graduate, Realtors Institute. First level of post-licensing education for Realtors.

SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist. Indicates proficiency in dealing with seniors' unique needs.

In addition , Re/Max International awards designations based on proven production. We are proud to have collectively earned every award Re/Max offers, including the Re/Max Circle of Legends award, held by fewer than 50 Re/Max brokers around the world.
