North Evergreen Information: Genesee and Lookout Mountain Homes and Real Estate

For those residents who want to be near I-70 and the quick commute to Denver, north Evergreen, Genesee and Lookout Mountain are the areas to focus on.

North Evergreen is roughly defined as the area south of I-70 and north of Evergreen’s Main Street.  It is approximately 30 minutes drive time to Denver and is considered more ‘neighborhood-y’ than the areas south of Evergreen.  Many of the homes are served by municipal water and sewer, many of the lots are less than an acre in size and most of Evergreen’s shopping and entertainment is there.

Genesee and Lookout Mountain, lying on the south and north sides of I-70, respectively, are even closer to Denver and feature subdivisions with homes of all vintages and price points.  These areas have more of an ‘outlying subdivision’ ambiance because there isn’t a town center—most shopping and entertaining is done ‘down the hill’ in metro Denver.

Genesee homes and Lookout Mountain homes tend to cost a little more because of their proximity to I-70, but that proximity makes real estate in Genesee and Lookout Mountain perfect for those looking for easy access to Denver.
