It is possible to find rankings for schools based any number of criteria: graduation rates, teacher-to-student ratios, classroom sizes, academic curriculum, extra-curricula activities and more. While we are proud of the rankings that our foothills schools have earned, we submit that there are other factors that go into the best schools: policies that encourage student engagement and civility, teachers that are passionate about their students learning how to address tough issues and parents who are intensely interested and active in their children’s education. We invite you to visit your kids’ schools, speak with the teachers and staff, watch how the students react with each other. If you like what you see, you’ve found a good school, regardless of its ranking.
