Of course, everyone loves a good powder day....but a big snow storm here doesn't always mean the ski resorts got the same amount.  If you want to find out which ski resort got the most snow, has the best depth or the most lifts open (even sorted by greens, blues and blacks), our source is https://www.coloradoski.com/snow-report  (and bonus - it'll even give you current weather conditions so you know if you'll need glasses or goggles).

And since the storms can be picky about which areas to hit, its a good idea to make sure you can get to the resorts on the big powder days.  Our all-time favorite road conditions app (on Andriod and iPhone) is Colorado Roads.  The icon has a blue mountain range and our big C logo across the front. Locals tip - click on the map icon once you are in the app and in the upper left-hand corner you'll see a camera icon, click that.  You'll instantly see a bunch of purple pins appear on the map...those are all C-Dot cameras so you don't have to take anyone's word about how good (or bad) the roads are, use this app to see them for yourself in real time.  

PS - don't forget to check the app on your way home too.  If there are accidents or closures, this app will save you hours of frustration in traffic!
