Back-to-School Annual Update

As we get ready to kick off the 2026–27 school year, it’s time for families to complete their student’s annual registration update—open now through Thursday, October 1. This quick, 15-minute process ensures schools have the most current contact and emergency information and allows families to:

• Pay school fees
• Register for transportation
• Sign important agreements for the year and much more

Completing registration early helps schools plan and sets students up for a smooth start. For support, reach out to your student’s school.

Guide to Complete Annual Registration

For Returning Jeffco Families:

All returning families need to complete the annual update through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This step ensures we have your most current information before school starts.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
2. In the menu, click "More", then select "Online Registration" to begin.
3. Follow the prompts to review and update your information.

For additional support, contact your student’s school directly.

For New Jeffco Families:

If your student is new to Jeffco Public Schools and you have not yet enrolled, start by visiting EnrollJeffco to add your student and select a school.

Attend an In-Person Enrollment Event

In-person registration support for both new and existing families will be available.

Why the Annual Update Matters

Completing your annual registration update ensures your student is ready for the new school year and helps your school plan and prepare. Here’s what you’ll do during the update:

• Keep Your Family Information Current: Update contact details and emergency contacts so schools can reach you quickly in case of emergencies, weather closures, or important updates.
• Protect Your Privacy: Set your preferences for directory and yearbook opt-outs to help safeguard your family's privacy.
• Sign Required Agreements: Review and sign the Student & Family Handbook and Technology Use Agreement to ensure your student can access district devices, learning software, and stay informed of school guidelines.
• Note: If this is not signed, your student may lose access to district technology resources.
• Take Care of School Essentials: Pay school fees that support classroom materials, activities, and learning experiences.
• Set up your Student’s Meal Account: Or complete the Student Benefits Application to access meal programs and additional services.
• Enroll in Transportation: Sign up for bus transportation if your student qualifies. Under district policy JFBA, students who attend option schools (except district alternative programs) and those who choose a school other than their boundary school are not eligible for transportation. 
  • The Transportation Department will prioritize restoring service to all transportation-eligible students on a route before considering providing service to students who are not eligible for transportation. If you would like your choice-enrolled student to be considered for transportation services after September 12, please contact your area transportation terminal.
